New Year... New Wallpaper

One thing I constantly update is my desktop wallpaper; and what a better way to start off the year than to have a new one!  When I was looking around online for the perfect wallpaper I thought something with gold touches would be perfect.  I wasn't finding much I liked until I came across these beautiful designs by Sugar Paper L.A.

A Wintry OOTN

When I was thinking about what to write about today, I realized I hadn't posted any outfits in a while!  Yesterday my parents and I went out to eat at a local Bonefish Grill and I thought the outfit I wore would be perfect to post!

If you can't tell by my face, it was freezing outside!  Apparently it is supposed to be zero degrees on Monday... yikes!

My Favorite Characters

1. Holly Golightly: I love this character because she is so personable for me, as most NYC characters are.  I love her strength as a person and how she is able to find true love, despite her greatest inner fears; also, I am a die hard Audrey Hepburn fan, so I pretty much love all of her characters!

2. Carrie Bradshaw:  Once again, another NYC girl that I absolutely adore!  Even though it is a script, I love the way she writes; it is so inspiring and so, so true, and, as a plus, she has a killer sense of fashion!

3. Charlotte York: Last, but certainly not least, I adore Charlotte York!  She is so sweet and has a great classic style that I love; even though she has a failed marriage, she is able to pick herself up and she learns to become a strong woman!

Currently Loving

There are so many things that I am loving this week, so it was incredibly hard to narrow it down to my five favorites!  With the new year there have been so many inspirational findings, tons of sales, and lots of new things too.  Here is what I am currently loving at the beginning of the new year!

New Year's Resolutions

This year I really want to commit to my resolutions more, especially because this year's resolutions will help me straighten things out and be more organized!  All of my resolutions this year are ones that I have wanted to work on for a very long time.  The ones that are most important to me are sleeping more, reading for enjoyment (still haven't finished The Devil Wears Prada!), and being more creative (mostly with the blog).  I am not one to plan much and I never plan blog posts too far ahead, but I am going to try being more creative with the blog and what I can do.  I may even be redesigning a couple of things;  Let me know if you have any ideas! I can't wait to see what 2014 brings for me and my blog!

P.S. I think I may end up getting the eye mask pictured above.  I bought a one dollar mask at Target to see if I slept better, and so far it has been helping a lot.  Thank you for all of your helpful advice the other day :)
