Busy, Busy, Busy

As usual, I have been super busy!  I have so much due this week and it has undoubtedly stressed me out.  Sometimes I wonder if doing all of my clubs with school is really a good idea because it is definitely hard to find the right balance; however, it always seems to work out.  I know I have shared some stress tips before, but I have a couple new tips I thought I should share :)
Four Ways to Fight Stress

1. Take a quick Starbucks trip after school and get your favorite drink!  I always find that going to Starbucks for a Chai Tea Latte helps soothe my nerves when I am busy and stressed with school (especially with my new Alice and Olivia mug from Jason)

2. Light a candle while working.  I love the smell of a good candle while I work because it is so relaxing and makes me want to keep on "whistling while I work"

3. Take a couple of short tv breaks.  Sometimes we can't sit and do homework for hours on end, so it is always nice to take a tv break; I prefer some Sex and the City for my little breaks!

4. Once you are done, do some online shopping.  Online shopping always, always, always makes me so happy even if I don't buy anything.  It is the perfect way to settle in after long hours of work!

How do you fight stress?

  1. my go-to's are pinterest or a bubble bath! xx

PS: just tagged you in a post love!

  2. Completely agree with the sex and the city! Sometimes a mini marathon of something is all you need!

  3. I had a sex and the city marathon less than two weeks ago :p

  5. Sex and the City is a great relaxing idea, except after watching it I always want to go shopping so I can have Carries wardrobe haha!

  7. I love candles, obsessed even. I have one beside me right now as I procrastinate doing my schoolwork. I find going on Pinterest or Tumblr for a little while helps me when I'm stressed too.

  8. I definitley agree with the candles-there so soothing and relaxing. I also love to do some online shopping as well. Great post Hunter!

  9. I think a very important one you missed is exercising! Exercise gives you endorphins and endorphins make you happy. Then you can get back to work and feel great about the time that you just "wasted" (especially during the holiday season).

  10. Spot on with the candles - I light one whenever I'm working from home. With crazy workloads this time of year, a little extra dose of Christmas from a candle is just what I need!
