Five on Friday

What a busy and stressful week!  I have had so much going on with school coming to an end, a gala I am attending tonight, and another weekend full of grad parties.  As much as I love being busy, I have definitely been overworking and over-scheduling myself.  Although this has been a pretty rough week, there are a few things that are getting me through--mostly all these great Memorial Day weekend events and spending a lot of time with my friendsHere are my top 5 links from this week!

1. Nordstrom's Half Yearly Sale for WomenI am loving these and this!

2. GiGi New York is also having a great promotionI think I am going to take the plunge and get my first GiGi clutch this weekend!

3. This post from Carly.  It totally describes how I have been feeling over the past couple of weeks.

4. Some college essay advice from yours truly.

5. This dress I ordered from Nordstrom as a possible contender for the Smart Girls Summit.  More to come later!

What are you loving this week?

P.S. Do any of you have any advice for getting out of a blogging funk?  I would love to hear what you have to say!

  1. What is the Smart Girls Summit? I was just on Preppy Monogram Style's blog and she was deciding between the dress you got for it and anther one from JCrew Factory. Do you know her? Good thing I told her to get the JCrew one or that could have been embarrassing ;)

  2. I hope you get the Gigi because I've really wanted one for sometime but wanted someone else's opinion before buying. Also I found that taking a mini-break from blogging (even a weekend) got me out of a funk and gave me fresh inspiration!

  3. Hunter, here is an idea for that blogger funk....i disagree about the break, but differing opinions is what makes us unique. I say do some serious soliciting from readers....10 things you might not now about you, and then them; where do you see yourself in 5 years; more info about your choral involvements; etc. If you write 200 word blogs, set a goal to increse it to 225, include more pics, your dream vacation. I think the post that you wrote about your break up with Jason was very strong, heartfelt, and might have helped some younger readers. How about some more info on the Smart Girls Summit.
