A Few Exciting Updates

First of all, I am so happy I have made it to the weekend.  I have been running from one event to the next this week and I can't wait for everything to calm down!  Of course, with all the running around, I have caught a cold once again; luckily, it looks like I am in the last stages and will be recovering soon!

With all of that said, I have a few very exciting updates for everyone!

First of all, I am getting my blog redesigned.  As much as I love the preppy style, I think I am growing out of the look and want something a little more professional.  Here is a hint of what is to come: Navy, Gold, and Black!

Secondly, the Undeniable Report is on Bloglovin'!  Anna and I honestly don't know how it happened, but we are hoping it will be a great way to gain more followers.  If your on Bloglovin' make sure to follow Undeniable for all the latest updates :)

And lastly, I got a new job at... drum roll please... Anthropologie!  I interviewed for the job in early October and I am so happy that I got the job.  To start I am just a seasonal hire; however, I am hoping that I will get to come back on board in the spring!  I think this new job is going to be great for me and I already love the women who work there!

How was your week?  Any exciting updates?

Braving the Cold

I think all of us here in Ohio were super surprised by the early snow, which I have no complaints about whatsoever; however, with the cold hitting earlier this year, I have had to bundle up more and more each day just to make it from the school parking lot into school!  Since many of you are experiencing early winters this year, I thought I would share some great cold weather essentials!
A good pair of mittens, a scarf, a cute hat, and a coat are what I have been wearing on a daily basis.  I also recommend purchasing a good pair of boots if you live in a colder, snowy area.  I have had my Hunter boots for about three years and they are perfect for the snow!

What are your cold weather essentials?

Getting Cozy

Over the weekend, it actually snowed!  It was a little bit lot of snow, and I was super excited; however, with the cold weather finally kicking in, I was perfectly content to curl up on the couch and watch a movie with Seth.  This cardigan from Pockets and Lace made me even more comfy and cozy for my weekend in.
Pockets and Lace has a great array of cardigans and sweaters, each of which are ideal for the upcoming winter and holiday season.  I personally like this, this, and this!

And, Frannie created a code just for my readers!  When you use the code PREPBLOG you can get %15 off of your entire purchase.  Make sure you stock up for the holidays because the boutique is starting to sell items out fast!

What is your go-to cozy look?

Rainy Day Linkup

Well, it isn't raining here, but it's snowing!  Luckily Seth and I took pictures right before the big storm hit.  I was so excited when Connie asked me to join her linkup because I absolutely love working with other bloggers!  Here is my Rainy Day look!

For the linkup, we were also given these questions to answer!

1. What's your favorite way to keep warm on a rainy day?  My favorite way to keep warm on a rainy day is to cuddle up by the fire, with Seth of course!

2. Are you a hood, umbrella, or both kind of girl?  I definitely love umbrellas!  I really want to get a clear one like this.

3. What is your best hair tip for a rainy day?  I have never really had issues with my hair on rainy days; however, I do recommend brushing your hair if it gets wet in the rain-- it tends to dry a lot smoother if I do that!

4. What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? My favorite thing to do a rainy day is go to Starbucks or stay in and watch movies!

To join in on this fun link up you can either go to Connie or Michaela's blog!
