My Desk

Recently I updated the way I have my desk space organized, and I could not be more pleased!  Before I reorganized, I had my computer centered and decorations on both sides.  This was a cute set up, but I just didn't have enough space to do homework at my, already small, desk.  My desk is honestly one of my favorite pieces of furniture.  I love sitting down and doing homework, writing cards, blogging, reading, shopping; my list just goes on and on.  For some reason I have always been obsessed with having the perfect desk.  Ultimately I want to get a larger glass top or lucite desk when I go to college.  I really love the way they look and I think it would add a chic touch to my apartment!  If you want to see some of my desk inspiration, you can check out my Pinterest account.  Here is what my desk looks like now :)

I love this little corner of my desk!  Just this weekend I spray painted the mason jar and I really like the way it looks.  Such a great DIY
I shared this yeseterday, but here is another picture of one of the journals that came in the pack I got at Target.  I am already drafting some great blog ideas!

Lastly, here is a full picture of my desk.  Overall it is pretty bare, but I like it that way.  I honestly can't stand when I have stuff all over my desk!

What does your desk look like?

  1. I love your blue & white seahorse and I love how the mason jar turned out! Your desk looks very organized and functional, I love how it turned out! My desk in all honesty is a little on the full side. I have books, notepads, picture frames, laptop, etc. sitting on top of it. It looks great but not a whole lot of room to work around with, I honestly don't sit at my desk that often though, but I love how a desk looks!

  5. Hi Hunter!
I agree completely about having a clean, open space to blog, shop and create! Unfortunately, I have a trouble with keeping things as organized. I think by having a minimal amount of stuff, there is a better chance I won't end up with a desk full of paper. Thanks for the inspiration!

  7. Oh, jeez, I wish my desk was half that neat! Although I can't work at all if it's messy - I think that's probably just an excuse to procrastinate by cleaning instead of actually doing work :)
