One Crazy Week

I've mentioned several times that this week has been particularly stressful, but now it is finally over.  Looking back it really wasn't that terrible; however, I let things get to me too easily.  It felt like every little problem amounted to me having a mini meltdown, until I had the huge meltdown Thursday night.  Because of this, I am going to resolve not to let the little stresses get me down, and here is how I am going to do it!

Following these steps will really help me keep my focus, not loose my motivation, and most importantly keep my sanity.  The world we live in is fast and crazy, but we should just enjoy the moment for what it is.  I want to be able to leave the little stresses behind and enjoy a carefree day, so that is just what I am going to (after my SAT today of course haha!).  I also have work again tonight, so I think that will make my day fun too!  I love this new job an I will definitely need to devote and entire post to it after I work a little longer :)

How do you deal with the stress of life?

  1. It's so hard not to worry. I work on this regularly too!

  2. Good plan! I deal with stress by hanging out with my friends and making crafts. Organizing and making lists helps, too! Have a great weekend!

  3. Thanks so much for these tips, I will definitely be using these cause it's so hard for me not to get worked up about stressful things like school. Have a great, relaxing weekend.

  4. I think telling yourself it will be okay is important, being reminded that in a couple days or weeks these feelings won't exist makes it a little more bearable!

  5. Hang in there! Whatever stress you're dealing with is only temporary :)

  6. I'll admit I don't deal with it very well, at all. Definitely need to remind me myself of all those things everyday lol

  7. Always, but absolutely most especially during stressful times: eat fresh organic vegetables both raw and cooked, eat grass-fed meats, don't allow anything to get in the way of getting a full-night's sleep (some people need only 7 hours, some 9, figure out how much sleep makes you feel best), eat fresh organic fruits but sparingly, eat grass-fed dairy but only sparingly. Do "relaxing-exercise" such as taking 30-minute walks. Beware of drinking a lot of juices, especially during stressful times. Drink water, and cut up ginger or lemon & put in hot water for a gut-refreshing tea. Cut out coffee, sugar, and "factory-made food". If you eat grains, do so only sparingly.

If you still have trouble coping with stressful times, then have your amino-acid levels checked, and read the book "The Mood Cure" by Julia Ross (I have no affiliation with Ross or her products).

Taking care of your body to keep it healthy is the most important job you'll ever have; if you take care of your body then your mind will be sharp yet relaxed, and this will go very, very far in helping you to be able to handle even the most stressful situations with aplomb.
